Things have been rollercoaster-y here at Chez’ Mama.

There is the Good:

• Maryland Sheep and Wool is a mere few weeks away.
• Michelle is coming to play with me for the festival!
• Sarah and Stacy will be around too!
• There is an Open House at my studio!
• The Warehouse re-opened with great success!
• Crazy 8’s part Deux Club has a few more openings. you choose your option… lace, sock, spinning fiber or combinations thereof!

Then, there is the bad.

The cowboy and I were in a car accident. We are very, very thankful that we sustained very minor injuries. The cowboy has a scrape on his poor little face from the seatbelt. He calls it his ANNAKIN mark from STAR WARS: Clone Wars 1. I felt so bad for him that I let him get his hair cut like Annakin Skywalker, complete with spiky flip in the front (not rat tail though… Daddy vetoed and I was inclined to agree). Cowboy says his haircut is “Jedi in the front and business in the back”. Funny kid!

I am sore still but getting better. I think the adrenaline really set my muscles into lockdown. My little Scion -that-could is in the shop. THANKFULLY, they can fix it. I have so little left to pay on it… I was terrified that we would have to have ANOTHER car payment.

So, we are crazy. Astrologically, there must be something going on. My br-G-Tiddy just had an emergency appendectomy. My poor mom was so not happy to hear about all of the negative vibes surrounding her adult babies.

I am hoping your weekend is warm and wonderful! I am resting and crafting this weekend. Cowboy gets a new tae kwon do belt on Saturday. Go Jedi master!

I have been working pretty stealthily these days. My eyes are crossed from fiddling with PHP and HTML and all of these big important codes that I really only know enough about to be dangerous.

I have long felt that a “spring cleaning” of sorts needed to occur with C*EYE*BER Fibers. More division and organization can only be beneficial for my sanity, I think.

Well, with a lot of help and support from my friends, I am done!

The Homespun Yarn Party was officially a great success! Thanks to my girlie, Javajem for her support and optimistic, cheery, yarn lovin’ self! Thanks to everyone for coming out and saying such nice things about my yarns… I love to see the girls make it to good homes!

Well, there are two of us that make C*EYE*BER Fibers, instead of one. And I am joyously, deliriously, out of my mind, beyond OVER the moon, happy. I have found someone to match my creative crazy, and feel that I may get more sleep in the process.

I can’t believe that I have neglected the ol’ blog for more than 10 Days!

That would be due to SPRING BREAK (aka known as ANNUAL HAZING WEEK FOR MOMS) . Not only did my boy almost never go to school in February… he has enjoyed the last 10 days off and is attached at my hip. He is at the “go crazy every minute of the day” part of our program. The poor kid is loosing his brain.

We spent a couple days in Ocean City, MD courtesy of  our Gnomies . The kids had a great time and the moms had time to watch grown  up movies, eat apple pie ala mode, and do general preparing for this weekend’s Homespun Yarn Party. You coming? We have TONS of yarns and fibers at lower than retail prices! Accessories, spindles, the whole 9 yards! Come say hey to me and Dawn, would ya?
