One of a Million Reasons

Filed under: garden — mamae @ 10:54 pm

Why I love the cowboy’s school.

This is the ORGANIC garden headed by the Food For Life Educator and the Garden Club.

There are vegetables, flowers, grapes, and even an olive tree.

I love the juxtaposition of the flowers against the chain link fence.

There are at least 12 full and glorious sunflowers. And yes, that is rosemary in the foreground of the picture.

I have gained so much inspiration from this space.

A big yay for Baltimore City Public Schools!

A public school district has a Food for Life educator and a Garden club? I thought these went out with No Standarized Test Left Behind. Wow! Maybe we should move to Baltimore!
