Where the HELL Have I been?

Filed under: family, random — mamae @ 10:44 pm

Lordy… I hope the video held you all over…FOREVER!

I am so inundated with work and life stuff that i feel like I am in a quagmire.

I have been working like 24-7 with small bits of joy interspersed… I promise that I will be back soon!

Biggest highlight:

Taking the cowboy to see They Might Be Giants for his first concert and getting a picture with Marty, the drummer. (My buddy will be sending the photo soon)

Remind me to tell you some stories about me and drummers, ok?

Time Flies: Young Mama

Filed under: art — mamae @ 11:09 am

This video was sent to me by a friend of my big brother and was made by Ben Cornish.. I may have been like 15 years old. Sadly, Rico passed away in one of those you can’t believe he is gone and was too young situations.

This is so awesome to see…

One of a Million Reasons

Filed under: garden — mamae @ 10:54 pm

Why I love the cowboy’s school.

This is the ORGANIC garden headed by the Food For Life Educator and the Garden Club.

There are vegetables, flowers, grapes, and even an olive tree.

I love the juxtaposition of the flowers against the chain link fence.

There are at least 12 full and glorious sunflowers. And yes, that is rosemary in the foreground of the picture.

I have gained so much inspiration from this space.

A big yay for Baltimore City Public Schools!
