If I Pass out… Can You Start the Caffiene IV?
Posted by mamae under C*EYE*BER Fibers , Sheep and Wool , Sweet SheepSeriously… I am so wiped. I have not been to bed before 2 am since TUESDAY night.
I have run my poor Canadian friend into the ground with my last minute madness. She should have gotten a work visa is all I’m sayin’!
We went to DC / Alexandria, VA to drop off a huge order to Knit Happens (merino / tencel… love it) and the poor girl got to see our nation’s capital from the passenger side window of my Volkswagon Rabbit (turbo and paddle shifter) rental vehicle.
I was all like “there is the Washington Monument”… and she was all like “there is a car that you are going to hit..”
Some people I tell you!
I have been annoying Michelle with my new game for the weekend. I decided it was best to deal with my anxiety for the weekend by labeling the emotion I am feeling at the top of my lungs. For a full 24 hours I have been intermittently shouting out words like
“WORRIED!” “ANXIOUS!” “TIRED!” “ANGRY!”
Michelle has been shouting out words like
“EAR PLUGS!” “DON’T CARE!” “ZIP IT!”… how rude? right?
What is our schedule for the weekend you may ask?
Tonight, FRIDAY MAY 2:
OPEN HOUSE at the Warehouse. Starts at 4 ends around 11. Details are here.
SATURDAY, MAY 3:
8am - 1pm at the Cloverhill booth. Main barn, D2,D3
Come say hi to me and the gang!
7pm -11pm Ravelry party at the Sheraton in Columbia.
SUNDAY, MAY 4:
Aimlessly wandering the fairgrounds yelling at the top of my lungs
“COWBOY!” “GET BACK HERE!” “1 ……… 2 ……. YOU DONT WANT ME TO GET TO….. 3 !!!!!”
See you at MDSW! (or miss you at MDSW!)
WHOOOOOOOPIEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Just to prove I’m not stalking you, I won’t be able to make tonight’s gathering. Cry-Sob-Whine. And, I might not even get to MSWF before 1 tomorrow. But, I did a quicky blog post on my obsession with your yarns and I do work around the corner from Knit Happens. So, there will be more, more, more of your yarn in my life! Oh, and there’s some of your tencel blend roving at home… and I don’t even know how to spin yet!

Hi Erin! Just wanted to say we thought the Cloverhill Farm booth was the best! We got stitch markers and yarn and a dye kit Saturday and more yarn Sunday. I was lucky enough to meet Jess in the Tess Yarns tent (Yeah, Jess in Tess…) on Sunday and mentioned how cute the Bob necklaces were. She clearly loved them too. I didn’t see you (or hear you heh heh) on Sunday. What a difference a day makes - we saw vendors that were completely hidden on Saturday. Take care and thanks for being a cool creative force in the world my dear.

Hey Erin!
It was great meeting you at the Ravelry party on Sat! “The locals” table was very lucky…6 of us won prizes!
