In the studio… thank god the weather broke (again). We hit almost 90 here in Charm City. That, my friends, is Indian Summer. It sucks. I was knitting a Lopi sweater (and finished the knitting part!) on the playground at the cowboy’s school today. The moms all shook their heads. I knew knitting my sweater in public, in a heatwave, would cause the weather to break. They should thank me dammit!
A lot of dyeing is going in here at chez’ mama. I have oooodles to do and am getting ooooodles done. It was way to hot to come here during the day… so again it is a late night here.
Custom and preorders are done and drying… wholesale orders are drying too. Clubs on their way…. busy, busy, mama.
The Crazy 8’s Club has 4 TWO!!!- 4month spots available for the taking. Go get them.
If you order within the next 24hours I will knock 10% off the price. I will send a refund via paypal.
What else?
Patricia and I are scheming up ways that I can infuse my sparkling personality into the cruise long distance. We have good ideas! Stay tuned.
Thanks to everyone who has emailed and commented with words of support. Your understanding of my inability to cruise to Alaska is very kind.
I’ll leave you with a taste of said sweater in it’s final stages:

That is crazy hot. The sweater is gorgeous and you get extra knitting points for working on something that heavy in those kinds of temperatures.

I would have thought knitting a Lopi sweater in public would have made it hotter. That’ll teach me…

Dang it all! How the heck do you knit, anyway?!?!?! I taught my self how to knit a row, pearl a row from a book and tried to do a scarf…. The stitches were so tight it was more like a very long potholder!!! LOL! You are a talented person!
