Make for great colds.

The cowboy, D, and I are all sick with nasty summer colds.

Perscription:

Naps, Noggin, tea, and OJ.

This is a shot of the cowboy and his cousin on vacation. It is so heartbreaking-ly sweet to me.

The cowboy is a very early riser… and an energetic one at that. This particular morn, we decided that we would let daddy sleep in a little. We took off for the “Tall, Tall Grass” and decided to go for a walk. Cousin S heard us outside of her cabin window and decided to join us.

I let the two of them walk ahead and talk a little. Their conversation went like this:

Cowboy:” I wike your ja-jamas… did you have a nice sleep?”

Cousin S: “yeah. I wike your orange pants. Thanks for walking me”

Cowboy: “Your welcome”

It was a joy to watch them. We hunted for snails, and there were tons of them!

Here is another precious moment from Fieldstone Farm:

The boys caught 10 fish! No joke… they were jumping on the line. I even fished a little and caught one or two….

Cal’s induction was great. The time with my family was priceless.

I am home after a 10 hour day of car travel. I owe my son a HUGE debt of gratitude for being so amazingly good natured for ALL 10 hours!

This is a picture of the cowboy at “Cal Wipkin’s Birthday Induction” party. How cute is it that he thought we were invited to Cal’s party?

That is as close as I could get to a photo of the man. There were 75,000 people in attendance!

Ummm… think the look on the cowboy’s face has ANYTHING to do with the hat??
