This is a shot of the cowboy and his cousin on vacation. It is so heartbreaking-ly sweet to me.
The cowboy is a very early riser… and an energetic one at that. This particular morn, we decided that we would let daddy sleep in a little. We took off for the “Tall, Tall Grass” and decided to go for a walk. Cousin S heard us outside of her cabin window and decided to join us.
I let the two of them walk ahead and talk a little. Their conversation went like this:
Cowboy:” I wike your ja-jamas… did you have a nice sleep?”
Cousin S: “yeah. I wike your orange pants. Thanks for walking me”
Cowboy: “Your welcome”
It was a joy to watch them. We hunted for snails, and there were tons of them!
Here is another precious moment from Fieldstone Farm:
The boys caught 10 fish! No joke… they were jumping on the line. I even fished a little and caught one or two….
Cal’s induction was great. The time with my family was priceless.
Edit Sunday August 5th:
Coleen Thinks the photo of the cousins looks like this:

The picture of the cousins walking looks like a greeting card it’s so darned cute! Glad you had a great time. Did I mention to you that I LOVE your seasick, merino/tencil? If not then let me take the opportunity now to say, “It’s amazing!” Thank you for the pin too. Have a great weekend.

I love “back shots” they seem so intimate and real. The kids are so cute!
I have a similar one of my 80+ YO parents. They’ve been together 60 years, have severe memory problems but, when they walk together they still hold hands.
