We left the Phoenix-metro area to ride our way to LA. The desert is a very lonely and beautiful ride. Nothing for miles and miles (except the vermin and critters and reptiles I tried very hard to avoid).
We stopped here for gas (4.19/gallon!) I could not decide if it was more like Radiator Springs or Deliverance (the desert version).

Remember the PEE WEE Herman movie… yup. These are Pee Wee’s dinosaurs!

I’ve always wanted to drive cross country and stop at all those cool little road side attractions.

Oh, I’ve been to that dino, you can climb up in him and everthang! How fun is that. “Let’s build a dino in the middle of the desert.” “Ok, why?”
