The Warehouse hosted the first series of dye classes that I have ever taught.
Here are the students from the first class:

Shelby, Amber, Sarah, Jodi, and Jen
Check out their flickr group.
These guys were so cohesive as a class. They were really open to new ideas and really dug in. & hours and (on averege) 12 skeins later… these guys really kept up the pace.

Here is a sample of what they did. Amazing! Now.. I must credit Amber, super-blogger picture taker, for the photos. She really documented the day.
I, sadly, did not take pictures on day 2. Kathleen, Laura, Jolene, Jen, and Gin were equally as amazing as the group that went before them. I am so proud of their work. They all were really open to pushing themselves outside of their “color comfort zone” and did so much work!
The ladies braved the cold and snow to the bitter end. A lot of learning occurred this weekend. I learned so much from them all and I am so excited to teach again! I just need to digest and mull over the experience.
I also have to thank my D for catering lunch (both days!) and being such a huge support!
Thanks to all who came out! Keep those photo’s coming!

Thanks so much for an AMAZING class! I was dreaming about dying last night. I re-skeined the gift yarn, made a yarn label for it and was able to give it to Judy this morning. (pics on my flickr)
I have started spinning up the Habu roving that I dyed and it is coming out beautifully. You are very talented both in dying and teaching. Keep up the great work and thanks again!

Thanks, Erin. It was a wonderful day… despite the messy drive home! I’m so glad I came. It was a delight to meet you and your friends and your family, too. Yarn is drying in the bathroom. I can hardly wait to make something with some of it!

They look great! Both the skeins and the students, I mean. Good show Erin, you clever entrepreneur you! When I get a job this summer… you can bet I’ll be poking around there. =D

What a great class and what fabulous, fun fiber! I’m so happy that all went well and that you had such a great time too. I look forward to the day when I can pop back and learn about color from you.

The new space is AWESOME and I *love* that you’re teaching classes. I will have to make my way out there for one soon! Congrats!
