I am not the most avid housekeeper. I regularly “find” that thing that I “lost” 6 months ago just after you buy the 3rd replacement… yeah. That’s me.
I have let go a little of the housekeeping on the ol’bloggeroooski for lack of time. I tried to do the maintenance last night an wiped the css from my sidebar. Oh, yeah… I did hit “update changes” after I wiped it. Thank God my hosting company (BlueHost… who rock. They have a 24 hour 800 help line where you talk to REAL computer nerds professionals at 2 am when you are crying/frothing at the mouth/convulsing/cursing at your laptop like she had a plot to destroy you) had a back up because I sure as hell did not. Please do not send me hate mail about my description of the computer dudes at BH. My beloved D is in the field and, when asked about his job, he regularly tells folks “computer nerdery” is his chosen occupation.
Well…. there are updates on the side bar. I have FINALLY added a C*EYE*BER Fiber Gallery to my site. Please feel free to comment or to email me photos of your fibers. I will be documenting my colorways there (since the computer guy tells me I have eons of mega-somethins’ left to burn).
More project bags and a wee update of the warehouse is slated to take place soon. Maybe tomorrow if I can get to it. I can say English Roses. Platinum, liquid silver, and some others are up for sale this go round.
Thanks!!! Back to skeining for me!
UPDATE:
you know what happens when you start bitching about your computer? She flips her lid and dies. Takes all your files with it. You cry… you cry some more… you plead with your husband to fix it… he does and is late for work… and you vow to NEVER EVER:
a) buy another t*shit-ba computer again and
b) let a week go by with out backing your data up.
Damn!
Needless to say… no update until the 28th or so. Nite all.

I don’t remember where I heard it, but there used to be a “top 10″ list about why you shouldn’t make fun of nerds. The funniest one was “someday you will be working FOR us nerds”. In my book, “nerd” is a good thing!

Nice to know they are there 24/7 and can actually HELP! So many tech support people are useless these days!

Looking forward to the update - I’m surprised you have time! Still hoping to grab a skein of Mean Girl (Suede?) before they fly out of the shop again :).
Have a wonderful holiday and all the best in the New Year.
