In honor of my dad… a 10 things post.
- He was very kind. He would go without and not complain, ever.
- He was so funny… he did not have to try hard to get a good laugh.
- He loved us. In that papa bear kind of way. His family was everything to him.
- He was well liked. He had many friends from the guy who owned the gas station to the mayor.
- He was incredibly human. In all of the good ways… he knew how to walk on this earth and be kind to his fellow man.
- He gave me the best step-mom a girl could ever wish for.
- He played professional football… for a brief time. He loved sports and passed that love along to his kids.
- He was a proud grandpa Tiger. He loved my boy… he was the first person I told that I was pregnant (after D of course!)
- He had a very special place in his heart for me. I know that with every fiber of my being. He showed me that many times over… and I only really noticed that as an adult.
- He was the best dad for me. He knew me… and he was proud of me as a daughter, wife and mother.
Dad, I miss you every day. I love you so much……

Happy birthday to your Dad! The platinum roving arrived today, thank you. It is just lovurly. I pulled out my drop spindle and had a go with some plain roving I have to practice, but I suck. I hope you do something special to celebrate your memories of your father.
